LVMH, the parent company of Christian Dior, Givenchy, Champagne maker “Moet and Chandon, will now use all the production facilities of its perfume and cosmetic brands to produce large quantities of hand sanitizers, starting Monday, and it is for free. Hence, Louis Vuitton sanitizer is now in production.
This decision by LVMH is as a result of the widespread shortage of hand sanitizers across the globe.
The gel will be delivered to French Health authorities and the Assistance Publique – Hospitaux de Paris, a network of 39 teaching hospitals that treats more than 8 million patients each year, according to its website.
In a press release by the company, LVMH is of the intention to help prevent lack of hand sanitizer’s in France and enable a greater number of the populace protect themselves form the virus.
